good for your first try, ok now im gonna say how to improve, if you think im being rude, delete my comment.
Add shading, simple shading e.g. a darker tone on the sides, and lighter on the middle
try not to use noise. noise is where its all fuzzy with different shades, this looks rough.
try light and dark strokes for the hair, e.g. one light stripe, then dark, then light ect.

BTW The only reason I used noise was to make the pants look like jeans ...
