Whenever you go to sleep, all the toys come out to protect you from the things in your closet and the monsters under your bed. Your parents always check first but only the Toys can see them. If you hear a noise, you guess "Mom?" but no, its not your mom. Its the Toys fighting one of the rached "Things" In your closet. The Teddy warrior is the leader of the "Toys". He spots them first, and the first to take action. He does his job fast so you cant spot them. Next time you wake up, you should thank your toys. Their mission is complete if you wak up to a restful night.

Ever have the mean kid at school? Well he probably doesn't have any "Toys" The reason they protect you is, If the monsters Get on your bed, they trick you in being "Bad". Thats why when you grow up you don't want/need your toys anymore, so you get rid of them. The monsters then get you you in the night and make you grumpy. Your parents just say "He's/she's jusst growing up" Thats not the case

Anything goes as long as it's relevant to the theme and complies with the site rules. Nothing says that you can't skin the example. Yes, you don't get a lot of points for originality, but it's still allowed.
