The Akephaloi is one of my favorite urban legends.
Commonly depicted in Medieval artwork, they're a creature that whose rumors, tails and mysteries have been around for centuries.
the Akephaloi were often depicted as humanoid beings with strange bodily proportions; headless with faces on the individual's torso, or bodiless with grotesque arms sprouting like legs. Either way, I'm pretty sure we can all agree that these things are creepy, boi.
