The Lantern
A farmer who became a monster...

Not long ago Jack Lanten ran a little Pumpkin farm, he sold them day in and day out, but he had competition. A man in the next town was stealing his customers. One night Jack went and smashed all of the competitors pumpkins, and stole the mans most prized possession, a huge pumpkin he had grown that summer.
Jack went to his shack and began carving faces on all sides of it he climbed inside and set up a little fire spot and cleared out the rest of the guts. The other salesman happened to drive by, he got out of his car and saw Jack in his prized pumpkin. He grabbed the torch jack had left out and tossed it inside one of the mouths. Jack burst into flames, his skin charred his face became distorted, and he was left to die.
When the fire subsided jack walked to his shack and looked in the mirror, he was disgusted at what he saw. He took a pumpkin from inside and carved faces on each side of that and put it on to cover his face. He wanted revenge, he went to the other mans farm and saw him outside, enraged jacks arms and legs burst into flames, harmless to him but deadly to others, Jack let out a screech and massacred the man and his farm aids...
He went into hiding not long after and is said to be plotting his revenge against all other farmers in the county, and possibly the world...
