The Leech

The Leech is said to roam the swamps, on nights with a full moon, in search for lost souls. If one were to come across this silent creature, its piercing stare with its bright unblinking eye would paralize you on the spot. As its mossy vine covered appendages wrap around its victims petrified body, it absorbs the life that victim lived, and could have lived.

If The Leech were to ever absorb the life out of enough souls, its once unopened eye, located at the back of its head, would open. It is said that whoever dares to look into this eye, would be disowned by humankind, as this selfish act would end the world.

Some things are not meant to be seen.
