The Sight of You Gives Me Butterflies

It's another day. I continue my lonely stroll through the garden, today is a cold day, but still, the garden keeps me company. I've never been one to talk to others, make friends, or find love. And nobody would talk to me either, for I was simply the girl who was always in the gardens. But today there was another. A butterfly, quite unlike the monarchs or cabbage butterflies I see around. This one's a blue morpho, standing out amongst yellow blooms. So I follow it. I'm not sure why. I simply did. It seems I wasn't looking where I was going, though. I followed the butterfly around the corner. Thud. There she was, a new girl in these gardens. I was usually the only one around here, yet she didn't feel strange. "A-ah. Sorry. I-I wasn't looking where I was going." I felt frustrated since I stuttered so much. It's why I don't talk to people. She simply laughed. "It's alright. I wasn't either." Something about that interaction made my stomach uneasy after. It felt like something was fluttering inside. Butterflies, maybe, that's how the expression goes. We would meet in the garden many times later.
