Lore:

  Lost, that's what they were. The astronauts had left earth about four months ago, July 9th, 2047. They had supplies to last up to four years. After dropping off supplies at the now fifteen-year-old settlement on Mars, they flew through the solar system and deep into the Milky way Galaxy. Traveling faster than light speed for brief periods and slowing down to get pictures, they made great time across the galaxy. Their target destination was the Andromeda Galaxy, but their navigational computers stopped working yesterday. So, they were stuck floating through space.
  "Look!" one man shouted.
  Everyone went to see what it was. There hanging in space, like a piece of a garment floating from the sky, was the Veil Nebula. They were seeing the western edge of the nebula. Everyone stared in awe. They were the first to lay eyes on the supernova remnant located 1,500 light-years away from earth.
