Toothless is a dragon from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise. He is a Night Fury, one of the most powerful and fastest dragons in existence. He is also the pet and best friend of the franchise's main human protagonist Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. Toothless was originally considered the last one of his kind, until the 3rd movie introduced a female white subspecies known as the Light Fury. Toothless is also the current King of the Dragons, otherwise called the Alpha. He and the Light Fury also have 3 hybrid children named Pouncer, Dart, and Ruffrunner, whose species is known as the Night Lights. The Night Lights have the same abilities as their parents, but it is unknown if they have their own unique abilities as well. Due to the events of the 3rd movie, Toothless and the Light Fury rule over the Hidden World, a hidden land near the edge of the world where all dragons in the franchise originated. Also, even though the 3rd movie is supposed to be the final movie, DreamWorks is thinking about releasing a 4th movie; which means if it does happen, we could be in store for a lot of interesting things.
