Aya Higurashi Also known as Toyotomi is a young thief turned vigilante, she wears magic armor gifted to her by the mysterious guardian so that she can fight the ghosts alongside her partner and close friend shadow. After discovering the truth behind the mysterious ghosts Toyotomi starts using a new identity of Andromeda Tyburn to hide from the organisation who want to silence her.


Shadows life is threatened if Aya doesn't reveal to the organisation what she knows, so to save his life she lets herself be captured and her memories of ever being toyotomi are subsequently erased. Shadow only ever knew aya as Andromeda and so when he sees her doing a crossword in a local cafe he is overjoyed to see his friend is safe and well but is saddened to see that she remembers none of their time together.

Shadow is determined to protect aya as she is hunted by the organisation with fears that she will once again remember who she is/ was.
