I've wanted to make this skin for a long time, seeing how Tsukasa is one of my favorite characters ever, and so here it is. The "skirt" might've been the hardest part out of everything, especially since I didn't want to make it too long nor too short, and this is also the first time I try to make fingerless gloves on a skin.

This is Tsukasa's design from the 2002 anime series .hack//SIGN, an MMO game world anime where the protagonist tries to find the true reason why he can't log out of the world. If this sounds familiar, then it's because it's pretty much the starter of the MMORPG genre, before Log Horizon and Sword Art Online's anime adaption (SAO existed in 2002, only as an... internet novel or something?).

this is a nice skin. i have the .hack//sign box set and i gave it a rewatch months ago. i haven't seen it since i was an early teenager. i forgot how depressing this show was. not saying that as a bad thing, it just had a big impact on me, even today as an adult.

i've been depressed forever, even since i was much younger, and i spent a lot of my time playing an mmorpg. so i can relate mildly to this character and their hellish situation their in. it took me a long time to sorta "wake up". so this character in particular means something to me. the show itself means something to me.

it's strange how this show just faded into obscurity. it's like a hidden gem now. no one talks about it. i appreciate the effort you put into this skin. thank you for uploading it!

Hello, I'm really sorry I came roughly a month late. I hope you're still okay.

I'm actually honestly surprised that someone today still remembers the show, it really does feel like it's faded into obscurity. In fact, my description was targeted to the people who never even heard of the show -- the new generation of watchers which think of SAO or Log Horizon when they think of an anime about video games. Strangely enough, I really love obscure things, and I've spent a lot of my life playing video games, immersing myself into the world because the real world has little to offer. It's honestly the reason why I enjoy the topic of virtual worlds and part of the reason why I love .hack//SIGN so much.

Again, I'm really sorry for the late response, I understand what it's like having depression and it's not just about sadness, but a lack of interest in many activities and a really negative world view. It happens to me from time to time but it sounds absolutely terrible to have it ever since your childhood.

Do you want to talk about it over DMs?
