Varan 1968

From Destroy All Monsters (1968)

Varan's original suit was likely either in very bad shape or even long gone by the time Destroy All Monsters went into production, so the flying prop from his movie was given a makeover (there's also been conflicting statements that the DAM prop was wholly new but it doesn't seem as likely) for its brief use in the movie. While I updated my 1958 Varan to be more detailed, I left this guy as my previous, simpler attempt at him, to try to replicate the smaller, simpler prop.
