The Saxon Stories is a great series to read and I heavily advise for people to read it.
The book is about Danish Invasion of Britain. So i was influenced to make some Viking skins,
but not the traditional How to Train your Dragon like vikings (best example I had) rather
the authentic Vikings that actually raided and pillaged the coasts of Britain and neighboring
countries.
Also a fact, Viking were usually Norsemen but Viking is just another word for Raider. Back in
the day, the warriors that would raid seaside villages and capture helpless ships would be called
Vikings. They'd usually have leather armor, since they're on boats they wouldn't drown as easily.
Good chain mail and fine helmets were for the richer warriors, and you could tell ones reputation
by how many arm rings they had on their arms. They would usually have axes and shields, but
long and short swords were used as well.
