Will, an orphan in the fictional land of Araluen, is the protagonist of a book series by author John Flanagan, called "The Ranger's Apprentice", that takes place in medieval Europe. The book series includes, "The Ruins of Gorlan", "The Burning Bridge", "The Icebound Land", "Oakleaf Bearers", and "Erak's Ransom" and they chronicle the trials Will endures as he learns his trade.

In the fifth book, Will finally earns his Silver Oakleaf brooch, and is considered a full-fledged ranger. Five additional books are planned for the series, and there have also been rumors of a movie production coming soon.

Actually, in the fifth book he has already gotten it. You read about the scene where he gets it in the seventh.

I have read all 10 books and can't wait for #11. I feel that this skin is a good portrayal of the series main character. Also, I don't mean to brag but my sister's friend is acknowledged at the end of the 10th book and is the basis of the new main character in the 11th, since she is such a good friend of the author.

I sure hope you didn't use my skin without permission. What's the mod about? I never actually read these books, I just did the character for someone who suggested him for a skin.
