The Wendigo is a known Mythical creature to the mythology of the Algonquian People and other native tribes.
A cannibalistic spirit possessing great supernatural power, an embodiment of gluttony and greed never to be satisfied after killing and consuming just one person, always searching endlessly for new fresh victims. Some legends say they are created when a Human would resort to the act of cannibalism there than turning into the creature, it is also said that one could be created when a Human body, dead or alive became possessed by evil spirits.

Its thin skin pulled tightly over its bones, with its bones pushing out against its layered skin and even some times over taking its flesh and resting upon the outside of his chest and limb., The complexion of the spirit was an ash gray tone that resembled death, and its eyes pushed back deep into their sockets. Looking like a gaunt skeleton recently disinterred from the grave, its lips tattered and bloody, unclean and pus ridden. A Wendigo gives off a strange and eerie odor of decay and decomposition, of death and corruption.
Many Modern concept artists of today display the Wendigo with human like bodies but possessing beast, and animal like features, such as its head being the skull of a Buck with might antlers, or the arms and claws of a bear, some have four arms or the tails and fur of wolves, and some without any feet but just torn flesh hanging from where their knees are as they float about, but always in some way it looks to be a rotten corps of some sort.

The rendering of my Minecraft skin Wendigo is of one that was created during a harsh winter when there would be little food and more likely the chance that a human would resort to the act of cannibalism thus leading to the Wendigo's birth.
Because its origin is based around winter his color pallet i selected is of pale ice like blues and grays as well as setting him up to have spirit like ice blue, cold, eyes that are sunk into his Buck (As in a Male Deer) skulled head.
This out of my other few personal created miencraft skins is my first Puplic skin upload So i hope you all enjoy it and the information I have provided about the legend of the Wendigo.
