The world has been overwhelmed by destruction. Eons of sleeping cosmic beings allowed humanity to grow without the perspective of their insignificance compared to the outer gods, beings who lived in higher dimensional planes, unfathomable forms to the human psyche. When the slumbering dieties awoke and rose from the ocean floor, humanity stood no chance in the wake of true reality. Insanity spread quickly, driving society to mass suicide at the incomprehensable forms taking the world back to the cosmic truth. Only remnants of humanity remain, and the ancient secrets that have been left behind. 

In this reborn world, there exists breaches into the higher planes. The Ender opens into the deep cosmos, where the outer gods abandoned old cults of alien species disciplined into creating monoliths worshiping their forms. The Nether is an alien planet inhabited by the dying races that the outer gods consumed. But, earth still has slumbering beings, dead but dreaming, until they are awakened once more. 

Yog Shabul, one of these ancient beings continues to stay dead, but dreaming in the ancient undersea cities built by the old ones. Should anybody manage to awake this cosmic entity, the world will undergo yet another cleansing in the wake of truth. 


Yog Shabul is a massive creature that protects the secrets of the ancient undersea city, tentacles curling around one another emerge from the back of its head. His gelatinous mass bubbles into bizzare impossible forms underneath his hard rock like shell. He peers through the darkness with his eye, organisms are nothing but tasty objects for him. As he slumbers, he carries an ancient golden tablet strapped to his back with strange enscriptions on it. This tablet holds the secret to reaching Yog Sothoth: the gate, the key, of all the cosmos.
