How to install Minecraft Resource Packs

Welcome to AAKing's Mashup Pack this was originally for me and my friend but since u guys like it so much I will update it and give exact instructions
to download it


1. Download AAKings Mashup Pack.


2. Launch Optifine through the Minecraft Launcher.

3. On the main menu click "Options"


4. On the Options menu, click "Resource Pack...".

5. Either drag and drop the resource pack in or click "Open Resource Pack Folder". - folder titled resourcepacks will pop up

6. Move the .zip file you downloaded in step 1 to the newly opened "resourcepacks" folder.

7. Click done

8. Click on "Resource Packs..." again.

9. Your pack should have appeared in the left window, just hover over it and click the arrow pointing to the right.

10. Click "Done" again.

11. The has now been succesfully loaded and ready to be used in your world!



Required settings:

  • Emissive Textures: ON in Options > Video Settings > Quality
  • Connected Textures : Fancy/Fast in Options > Video Settings > Quality
  • ESC > Option > Video Setting > Quality > Custom Item : ON
  • ESC > Option > Video Setting > Quality > Connected Textures : Fancy
  • Recommended lighting - "Fancy Lighting'
