Alternate Parrots is a resourcepack that focuses on giving the parrot a new model and new textures that fit in with the vanilla artstyle.



Because this resource pack makes changes to the model of the parrot, as well as give it named texture variants, a mod that adds CEM (custom entity models) is required!





Note: I will not be accepting any porting requests nor do I have plans to port my packs over to Bedrock Edition myself. Thanks for understanding.

Named textures:

- A green parrot named parakeet will turn into the Parakeet from the Nintendo 3DS.

- A grey parrot named cupcake will turn into Chica the Chicken from FNAF.

- A grey parrot named alex or apollo will turn into an African grey parrot, Alex and Apollo being two famous African parrots who are known for their intelligence and incredible ability to mimmic human speech.

This is delightful beyond words.


However, the parrots don't retain their name-tagged skins when resting on your shoulder. (Specifically the second parrot, which is the right shoulder)

Since none of the newer versions have made any changes regarding the parrot, it should work!
