So Mojang is very good at well, not being very consistent with their texturing, and some are just outright things they've forgotten to fix, like the iron ingot literally still using the old classic texture!
So I decided to fix that!
LIST OF CHANGES:
Iron ingot is actually using the gold ingot model as it should, but it's also rotated, as it should be.
Fire now matches their campfire counterpart
Most gold, iron and diamond things now uses their respective item palette instead of a whole other one.
The broken elytra now uses the actual new texture as it being "broken" instead of just being a little tweaked old texture.
Flint and Steel also now uses their respective item color palette, which they for some reason before, didn't.
The enchanting table now also uses the diamond color palette, which it didn't either!
Wheat seeds are also more defined and fit more to their irl counterpart.
Armor slots in the player gui now match actual armor in it's icon shape.
The furnaces, as in the normal and the smoker have now been fixed, the normal furnace now have matching fire to the rest, now also has an animation, and the smoker have been tweaked but also given a smoother animation.
Barrels have now been tweaked to match plank textures more while becoming a bit more "blocky"
All doors and trapdoors have had their models tweaked to now have a custom textures on all sides, while also tweaked their texture a bit.
Iron blocks now use the iron color palette.
Copper ingots item texture now have a more defined border to match the rest of the ingots.
Strings now look a bit more white instead of gray, matching the wool texture.
Lava buckets now actually look hot, and share a similar color palette to the actual lava.
The enchanting table book now have a darker texture to match the actual books in the game.
Blaze rods have now been tweaked to look more like the actual rods blazes have in-game.
The last growth stage of cocoa beans have now had it's top texture fixed and model, since before the top texture was a 7x7 texture, on a 8x8 cube, in short, no more mixels.
The flame and lava particles have now been changed to have the same consistent color palette as the actual fire and lava.
Rails now use the same wood texture on all rail variants (before the normal rail had a tiny bit of a different shade on it's wooden planks compared to the rest)
Rails now use the gold and iron color palette for their respective rail types.
Lanterns and chains now use the same gray-ish iron colorpalette as the iron anvil, instead of the random blue shade it has.
The boat item's paddles now match their respective wood type, just as in-game when u use a boat!
...and most likely more!

I am aware at the moment I still have a few things to fix, like shulker boxes and so on, but for now, I'll release it like this.
Like some of my other packs, I just wanna say big thanks to un_roman for being real kind and was willing to make the logo text!
This pack is mostly originally from my pack Minecraft Reimagined but I thought some people may like some of it's specific changes but not my pack, so I decided to give it, it's standalone pack!

also, i love those small details with the weath and seeds, also with the armor slots
So as long as I don't do any programmers art related packs, I can't really see why I'd do that, on the other hand, I'm quite certain their are "consistentcy" packs for programmers art, if that's what u are looking for with iron using the old texture.
