Features:
  • Cuts off the fire texture, instead of just making it smaller (down to 2 pixels tall)
  • Removes the "generic" particle textures (smoke) that would otherwise be obtrusive
  • Makes the fire animation completely static (non animated)
  • The result of the above 3 changes completely minimalizes file size

Yes. The texture is the same, so it's still visible when you're on fire, but it barely obstructs your view and isn't animated
