Who said you can't have good fps whilst still having amazing visuals? big pixels combines a 8,8 texture pack(brilliant for slow computers) and a high def look. This pack also eliminates fire and portal animations, this drastically boosts the smoothness and fps on slow computers.

What all this means

This means that you will be able to play minecraft twice as smooth than your standard texture. So if you run render distance small you will be able to put it up to normal no problem, that mean you will see the sun what in my opinion is a big bonus.

I used glsl shaders, i would strongly recommend it.

Love this texture pack, but there's one little thing that would be great if you improved and that's the fire animation. Right now it's only a sprite and doesn't move at all. Otherwise, great job!

there is also a 1x1 floating around. it is called "onecraft" (no surprises in that name). However, i think it might have actually been a 16x16 colored to 1x1 because it didnt make my game any faster, even though my normal 8x8 did.
