Blue Crying Obsidian

Who cries purple tears?

I mean seriously? Not that I don't respect Jappa's amazing textures, but here it is. The original crying obsidian cried normally, so why can't the new one? I was tentative about how well this would turn out, but I think it actually works pretty well!

More like this

  Have something to say?

Does this also effect regular obsidian? like change the purple tint to blue? because i'd love to see that with a Blue Nether portal

Unzip the file and see if there is another folder inside, and use that. It's an error with the way I'm zipping the packs and should be fixed soon

I wonder if you could put it on different sides that way the block became rotational
I may try!

If you're referring to the particles which drip from it, unfortunately no, due to the way that Minecraft applies colour to particles, which is hardcoded and unchangeable without OptiFine. However, once OptiFine is updated to 1.16, I will try my best to make an OptiFine required resource pack which changes the particles to blue. Until then, only the cracks on the blocks texture will be blue and the particles will still be purple sadly.

Hey guess what! You can change the particles in vanilla now.

I've done a lot of particle tweaking myself, would you like some help?
