But the fact of the matter is this is technically against the rules since its a "recolor" of the default texture pack. Making a tutorial blog would have been better.

Well, You Can Change The Textures, Aren't You Using A Texture Pack? It Also Changes The Textures Right? Don't Say All Texture Packs Are Against The Rules.

Actuality, I don't use a texture pack. But that is beside the point

And to clearify what I meant: he changed one aspect of the default texture pack, and called it one of his own. That is the same as changing the eye color of Steve and calling it your own, original skin.

And, I never said that all TP's are against the rules: simple TP's such as this one. Where one aspect of the default has been changed.
