this doesn't include Optifine at all!
theres something in my mind,~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~ 😱😤 then i had to make it out. it looked pretty good!!!! i think this 3d minecraft model will make this look not too flat so it brings minecraft more 3d feeling!!!!!
this pack changes the pitcher plant/pod models to make it not too flat because using cross plants makes it more flat if you think about it, and it doesnt look too good, so i made this pack to make it more pop out and feel more 3d. this makes it more lively to the other plants as well!!!!
changes:
- models (visibly 3)
- item (square-y) (2)
- rotation variants
i think you already kno this but i could tell you how if youre ADHD:
- Download the file pack via Planet Minecraft or Mediafire
- Move the file via resourcepacks folder or drag and drop in-game
- Select the pack even if it's Incompactable
- Load the texture pack and see if anything changes
made with love - siwak

Would you consider adding random rotation?
I've seen that done with blocks that can't be placed in a specific direction, to add variation.
Because you're going from a 2D sprite to a 3D model, having pitcher plants all face the exact same direction looks strange.
I think that would help make them look more natural.
i use Blockbench (Download PC) to do it
so first, i opened a vanilla model which already has the "cross plant model" in it (the textures are visible if the location is from that source like: minecraft). then i create a new cube (Ctrl + N) and then resize the cube to how much i want. in this case, the pitcher crop stage 4 have the width of 8 and height of 10, you will have a cube that is 8x10x8 that includes the positive cube and a negative cube (for the inside of the model). the middle and top part are used the same method. i recommend to do the positive cubes first and the negative cubes will be the last part.
after i did the positive cubes part, i opened photoshop to create a new texture for the model (16x16 canvas). to make one, i need a vanilla texture to copy and paste it into the new file for refrence and color palletes, then i paint the textures following the cube sizes on all parts. then i move the part deciding where to put the parts of the textures. if the textures dont have any space left for a new one, you can add a new layer and save it as an another texture file (e.g. model0, model1). if yourte happy with your textures, save it with a unique name. after that, import the textures into Blockbench by drop-and-drag the textures in it, then click "Import textures" to import thr textures. now select the cube and move the regions to match the parts on the textures you want it (the body will use the same textures on: north, east, south and west).
then create a negative cubes from the "ELEMENT" window (located in the top right) and type the minus values manually because if you use the resize tool, it wont work since that will just makes the cube flat. when make the cubes into negative, reposition it to the same cube that is positive and has the same (absolute numeber) size. continue doing for other cubes that needed the inside visible, you can rotate the top part if the plant to go up or go down based by the growth stage using the rotate tool (R). then use rotate tool and rotate by 22.5 degrees leaning down to the front.
if your model is done, you will have a finished model as a pitcher plant!!! now, select all cubes and reposition with the texture, the model will touch the middle a little bit. then if the model is lined up, you can change the texture on the cross model to a different texture than only have the base of the plant, then save your model (Ctrl + S) and open your game, select the texture pack that includes your model (or if already selected, press F3 + T to refresh textures). after that, you will see your models in-game!!!!
thanks for reading this long paragraph!
