A fun little pack I've been working on ever since the public release of Classic 0.0.14a_08 and Classic c0.0.16a_02 by the people over on Omniarchive.
In this pack I took a bunch of these early textures that Notch made and adapted them to fit into the aesthetic of Beta Minecraft. Rather than just a straight rip of the classic textures to try and match the general appearance as close as possible, this pack instead adapts them to fit within the aesthetic of Beta. This pack is fully compatible and made to work with New Frontier Craft, however works 100% perfectly fine with Vanilla Beta 1.7.3 as well.
The textures for items haven't been changed at all yet, but likely will be at some point in the future to match the shade of color that the wood uses in this pack.
Note: Despite what you might expect, this pack actually ends up looking a bit darker and more gloomy most of the time than Beta naturally does because of the way the different colors work together without the alpha grass everywhere. So don't go into this expecting a bright happy fun Alpha pack.

Version 1 of the pack is also available for download, however is not recommended due to the textures not fleshing together as well.
