Instead of a block cracking when you hit it, a bar comes up and shows a green line. When the green line fills in the entire bottom section of the box the block will break. it will also work with any tool, not just punching it.

To make a texture pack go to minecraft.bin then with the right mouse button drag minecraft.jar onto your desktop then with win.rar make a copy to your desktop. then delete all class files in it. then just customize it. open the .png files and draw on them. blocks are in terrain.png. i recommend having paint.net to color and draw
