Using some complicated techniques and a lot of textures, I was able to make a connected textures for copper grates.



sadly, its impossible to make them connect to each other. When optifine/continuity add that feature, this will be updated.

why does it need near 40 textures just to connect

ok so i learned tat regular ctm requires 47 tiles but why didnt you use the compact ctm instead?

so, basically: copper grates do not tile properly if you just remove the outline. It creates a weird gap between two blocksnormal ctm tectnique on copper grates
so, to solve this, i used a complicated technique i call "method stacking" which allows me to use multiple methods on top of one another, in this case repeat and then ctm.



why i dont use compact is just because method stacking doesnt work with compact for some reason.

What is method stacking tho?sorry I am new to optifine feutures

Also i just load block bench snd tried tiling and yes it is either one pixel short or one more

But can you just make it 17x17
