Tall (1x3) Custom Doors with Biome-Based Variety (OptiFine Required - version 1.20.4)


This resource pack replaces four vanilla Minecraft doors—cherry, mangrove, acacia, and crimson—with taller, 1x3 custom door models, perfect for players who build on a larger scale. Standard doors often feel too short in grand builds, so this pack helps bring your architecture into better proportion.


Each door features a unique design and in-game name:

• Cherry Door → Door (1x3 tall single design)

• Mangrove Door → Paired Door (1x3 double panel door)

• Crimson Door → Glass Door (1x3 with glass accents)

• Acacia Door → Big Door (1.5x3 oversized model)

*Includes vertical half blocks to visually fill in the space and complete the frame for the extra width.



Using OptiFine (1.20.4 or newer), placing these doors in the Plains biome will trigger randomized variants via CTM (method=random). You can also place them in specific biomes to consistently generate specific designs. Biomes not explicitly assigned will default to random variations.


Without OptiFine, each door will display its default version (preview included in the display).


Why Taller Doors?

As someone who tends to build big in Minecraft, I found that vanilla doors often looked out of place. These custom tall doors help match the scale of larger builds, while offering more design diversity, color options, and architectural consistency.
