Hey man, this is some awesome work! I wanna get into making texture packs myself and was wondering how you got the alternate textures to work without using OptiFine. I haven't tested out the pack yet, the question popped up before I could do that. If you could answer this question that'd be very helpful.

You need to create diffrent models for the same block and use blockstates to add the randomness. If you take a look at the pack's files you can easily understand
