This pack replaces pork with hoglin meat, which I have named "cochon."
As the english names for meats, such as beef or pork come from french, I thought I would take the french word for hog- cochon. In french, it is pronounced ko·shon, so it should be pronounced in english like "caution." This is also an interesting double entendre; caution should be taken when exploring the nether. Safe travels, and enjoy the resource pack.

I wish this is the normal drop for hoglins, it would be nice for making a variation on the items that the game has

They literally only check here for ideas and feedback tho they do from time to time also check reddit: /r/MinecraftSuggestions I recommend going to both and going threw monthly or yearly top and upvoting stuff that makes sense in game EI: Vertical slabs (likely wont happen in my life time but I can dream, I say this because Jeb doesnt like the idea)

It's already been suggested a few times, I think. I don't doubt mojang would add a custom meat anyways. If, upon release, the texture and name are something you don't like, the resource pack can fix it. :)
