What is it?
Lighter water is a simple pack that makes all water a lighter blue colour and also more transparent.
Full list of everything this pack changes:
- More transparent water
- Underwater fog matches lighter blue colour
- Lighter blue water colour
- Bubble and splash particles made lighter to match water
- Item textures (water bottles, water bucket) will more closely match the new water
New in v1.3:
- Mangrove swamp and deep dark have new water colours
- All biomes have the corrrect colours again in 1.19 (hopefully)
- Cauldron water is now transparent
- Thanks to XKillerManiacX on Planet Minecraft for telling me how to do this!

The only officially supported versions are 1.18 and 1.19 at the moment

Do I need any mods?
If you are using fabric
You must have Colormatic installed for the new water colours to work.
Bonus: If you install Continuity cauldron water will be transparent

If you are using forge / optifine
Just install Optifine and everything should work. Make sure you have custom colours set to enabled in the optifine settings!

also I discovered this by myself and no one actually made a resource pack to make the cauldron water translucent and go ahead add this file to your resource pack as long as you credit me :)
Edit: Looks like it also works with continuity with some culling issues. I can probably fix that with a model edit though
Edit 2: fixed the culling issue and now released it
Also can I use this to my pre-release project as additional, I give a proper credit and made my own version, I will made it less transparent and made my own color biome + other dimensions
I'll make sure to give credit, of course.
