This pack requires either Optifine (Forge/Fabric/Vanilla) or Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features (Fabric 1.18.2+).

This pack adds sixteen new fox colors -- twelve varieties of red fox and four varieties of snowy fox.

The textures will be randomized when the fox spawns. If you want to ensure a fox stays the same color, use a name tag.

Added textures for new baby foxes. Removed most custom modeling because only one texture was using that and it made the pack way more annoying to deal with (Fennec foxes still have their bigger ears). Tweaked some textures.

Hi! Is there a version of this mod for 1.21.5? It's perfect for my game, but unfortunately it doesn't work; the foxes' colors haven't changed. I hope I can fix this, as this is the only mod I like...

Unfortunately PMC only allows me to upload one version of a pack at a time. I do plan to upload my packs to Modrinth eventually to get around this but I have no clue how that site works so it may be a bit.

However, at the very least the red fox textures should work in older versions. Snowy fox textures will have to be renamed from fox_snow[​n].png to snow_fox[​n].png and likewise for the properties files, but red foxes should work. Make sure you're using Optifine or EMF/ETF, as that is the most likely reason for the textures to not change.

I tried to transfer everything to version 1.21.11, updated optifine and EMF/ETF, but the mod still doesn't work at all, only vanilla foxes spawn from the egg :(

I have a fully functional 26.1 version but I misplaced it, so it'll be updated when I figure out where it ended up :P

Thank you so much for making this and for the update! I'd been trying to find a resource pack with a bunch of different fox morphs for a while and this one is so nice. They're all so cute, I love them so much.

And also when I put it into the folder instead and I spawn a fox in my world, it is very glitched and looks really werid. the texture is not even applied :((
