Removes the vignette (the black overlay in the corners) from the edge of the screen. This is good if you are in a cave with no torches, it makes it a little brighter.
Optifine has an option to remove the vignette (Options>Video Settings>Details>Vignette Fast (off))
Note: It will say "made for an older version of minecraft" this is normal, it works fine on any version.
