Hi guys, Amaze here and I'm here to present to you my simple texture pack full of squares known as "Squared", it's a very simple texture pack but it'll be one of your favorite packs.
Have a try at it and you'll see it'll be a fave. :D

On other notes, I'd like to thank Kennyful for giving me some encouraging notes on not letting anyone drag me down due to oCd and Squared's similarity, thank you Kenny. :D

'Icon' Update: (Wednesday, January 16, 2013)
More Items Completed, More GUI Completed, No Skins Created, and a Load of Mobs Created. :D
No other notes as of today, and an update shall not be expected for a long while, school tackled me to the dirt but I'm not down yet, still going beast mode... no idea what I'm talking about.

'GUI / Mob Galore Update': (Saturday, January 19, 2013)
Way More GUI and Mobs Updated!
No new notes, school about to kill me, and I have been making some simplistic pixel art, and that's all!
Also, announcements and releases will now come every two Sundays, but the Extras Update is an exception. :D

Notes: I'd like to tell everyone that I am making this pack not to try and copy oCd, but to show off my little simplicity and squares to Planet Minecraft, this was influenced and inspired by oCd created by _disco, but again, I am not trying to make a copy of oCd.

If you enjoyed this pack, favorite it to stay tuned on the updates if you like it enough, diamond it if you love it, and comment if you have any way I can improve on this, hate comments will only raise my courage and it will be deleted. :P

This update is a second part to the Icon Update, it adds way more mobs (up to more than 10. :P), and adds a lot more GUI, such as the insides of blocks and the icons! :D

I agree with Kennyful! This is a very net texture pack!
And you have to admit, Amaze is going about this in a very proper manner. Wonderful graphics were made to advertise, names have been used correctly and respect has been given to OCD and their work. I call this to be a texture pack honoring the achievement of OCD. Afterall, Amaze is taking the time to create a different texture pack aside from OCD. When really he/she could just use OCD and forget about going to the effort of refining that idea and making a new, fresh and very cool texture pack. Kudos!

Couldn't have put it any better myself-
I don't see why it's only this pack getting hate. I have a pack that was inspired by oCd, Simplecraft is similar to oCd, Tinypixels is in the same category as oCd.
Why pick on Squared Returns?

(Not saying we should pick on them, but saying that there is no need for hate)

Tiny Pixels and Simple Craft may be on the same road as oCd but what many don't want to look for is the type of genre, they want to have something like Tiny Pixels, it's vibrant, simple and overall has a new feel to simplicity, but as for mine, I have a square-bland texture that can be finished in days or less, I'd like to try out a new style and make it into a reality besides squares. :3

Guys guys, please, stop hating on Amaze and the texture pack.
They never stated they were trying to make it look like oCd, and the only reference to oCd was for the idea of the pack, not like they were trying to reproduce it. There are many, hundreds of texture packs that can be categorized in the same way that oCd is, and just because they are all similar to the one texture pack that is very well known says nothing.

So chill, and use logic. Amazing texture pack. Just because one idea is taken does not mean it cannot be expanded on.
