If anyone can help when ever I try to use a texture pack it shows a black and white default picture and than in the game it shows only the default texture pack how do I fix this? Please help me!

I dont know whats wrong, but save a bookmark online of the
texturepack you like then uninstall minecraft
(go to run or my computer, type
%appdata%, and delete .minecraft.[DOT]minecraft)
I've deleted minecraft before,it keeps
the minecraft icon but deletes the
data so you start FRESH. If this
doesn't help, contact a professional,
or it might be an out-dated texturepack
or something
