I no longer update this so feel free to use any of the resources for yourself

This resourcepack improves minecrafts default textures using 1.9 minecraft using OPTIFINE or
MCPATCHER

IMPORTANT: You need either OPTIFINE or MCPATCHER to use this
resourcepack

NOTE: The first picture, used as the site list representation, was created with Chunky, a map rendering program that although allows for custom resourcepacks, but DOES NOT support connected textures. The background is only to signify that this is a default texturepack, but NOT to show the packs features.

About:

Optimize improves the default minecraft textures with ctm(biomes, metadata as well), random and biome specific mobs and cit(item textures depending on stackSize)

If you do not want to download either of the required mods then the resourcepack will be almost useless, but as i update this pack, there should be more improvements available in vanilla.

My aim in this pack was to make default textures more varied and interesting, using a bit of ctm here and there, but not change the textures too much that it is noticable, just making it look better.

You're the first person to do something like this!
Will you make it so an item's skin changes when it gets damaged? That would be cool.

I'm afraid I don't have the knowledge or software to do this with item models. Until I learn how to make custom item models and buy the software I will not be able to do this, but it is an idea I will be adding to the pack. Thanks for the suggestion!

No, you don't have to make models for this to work. In 1.9, all you need is a texteditor and some JSON knowledge and you're set

Oh, that's good then, at least I don't have to buy the software now! Thanks for telling me! :)

Hi i need some help disabling the top potion of the brick and cobblestone textures. I don't like how they look like sandstone and I tried to fix them but can't do it successfully. Thanks.
