                    -Changes the model of snow layers so it come down the side like how it does on grass blocks.
                    -All levels will have it come down (Snow Block does not have this effect)
                    -No Optifine required! :)

                    note: at further distances some of the snow will start z-fighting with the blocks and I don't know a good way to fix it, so I hope that isn't bothersome.

                    Clever! As far as the z-fighting goes, I think one often used solution is to make the overlay just ever so slightly bigger than the block beneath, so that it technically ends up on top.

                    Yeah, or maybe very very slightly on front, so it's impossible to notice so it doesn't happen. Pretty sure the same happens with Enderman and Spider eyes.
