DESCRIPTION
A pastel color texture pack for Minecraft!
The main inspiration being the lack of full pastel packs for minecraft. This one also gives new designs and tries to keep it as simple as possible, no complicated textures but not single color blocks either.
The focus is keeping it as colorful as possible without affecting the general visual design of the world. This is for easy identification of the world without double thinking the blocks functionality.
Made using Aseprite and Blockbench everything done by hand with a tablet.
INSTALLATION
In the Zip, you will find the 3 main releases,
1.16.2 / 1.12.2 / Bedrock EditionJAVAAs always, drop the main ZIP (Pastelcraft 1.16.2.zip / Pastelcraft 1.12.2.zip) into your Resourcepacks folder, should be like this:
C:\Users\[NAME]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks
*Now you can just drop the ZIP of your version's preference into the RESOURCEPACKS folder
BEDROCK:Being an .MCPACK just double click it and it should install it automatically
If you are playing on Pocket edition, try looking at this guide:
https://mcpedl.com/how-to-install-minecraft-pe-texture-packs-for-android/?cookie_check=1*Alternatively, search up online. I currently don't own a portable version so I can't test it out.
MISC
This is the planned Road map for Pastel Craft, the idea is going from left to right but some may come sooner than later. For now, once the java version is finished, I plan to port it to bedrock, then to 1.12.2, then Optifine with texture enhancements and then a surprise release. All in due time.
Edit 15/08/2020: Working on the Optifine extended textures but I'm having issues with it at the moment, we'll see.
Edit 31/08/2020: Managed to get the file format right

FAQ:Q: Why the menus on Bedrock are different from Java?
A: Bedrock handles menus a lot different than Java. Whereas Java has each menu as an unique image, Bedrock uses a general base menu texture for all their menus. (Explained further on this
tweet )
Q: Will Bedrock ever have the same menus as Java?
A: I do think it's possible, however this requires a lot more research on my end.
Q: Bedrock is missing X thing.
A: I may or may not be aware of it. Some things only require simple workarounds, others not. Will update in due fashion.

I do believe this may be since I used the same fire animation for the both instances within the game files. Didn't knew exactly where they were used, thanks for the heads ups!
Is it pvp pack coz thats what i'm searching for...
edit: it worked! just had to export something
the effect icons are not visible if any is this intentional i believe this is a bug THIS ONLY OCCURS IN 1.12.2 IT IS FINE IN 1.16.2
If not, well, I'll try to set it as a different download.
There does seem to be a buggy texture with the ender chest, but besides that I love this pack!
Regarding the ender chest, I see what you mean, the textures are overlapping and causing a flicker. Thank you for informing me! It'll be fixed on next release.
Still, I would need to see if I could port the UI from Java into bedrock, among other things.
Which shaders are you using? I'm sorry if I'm asking too much. Hope you have a good day! I luv your texture pack btw. Hope you're doing well in this pandemic.
