What is it?
Have you ever noticed that names of players or animals are hard to read through solid blocks? That's what this pack fixes by making all names fully opaque instead of transparent when looking at them through blocks (see images above).

Do I need any mods?
Nope! This pack will work in 100% vanilla Minecraft though may not work with some shaders.

What version is this pack for?
This pack should work in any version from 1.17 to the 1.19 snapshots.

Can you make it for other versions?
No as this pack uses core shaders which were introduced in 1.17 meaning it is impossible to make for older versions.

Known Issues
Known Issues
Letters in names can change in brightness from certain angles. This seems to be an issues with how Minecraft renders names but if I find a fix for it, I will release it

PLEASE could you find a way to make this work with complementary shaders or is it absolutely not possible ?
Anyway great pack idea !

It’s most likely not possible without a mod because using shaders disables what this pack uses to work (unless you edit complimentary shaders itself but I’m not sure how or what you’d need to edit)

If you go in complementary shaders (winrar file) then shaders>lib>text rendering there is a "text renderer" file which seems to be interesting for doig that. Althoug i dont understand much about how shaderpacks works i'll see what i can do, and if you find a way to make nameplates opaque through shaders instead of resourcepack i would love to hear about it !
thanks for the quick reply <3
