I like this texture pack, however i was trying to change the name of the golden apple and enchanted golden apple to gapple and god apple, but i cant seem to do it, could you make a texturepack that renames golden apple to gappel and enchanted golden apple to god apple, thanks

You need to edit the line in your lang file that contains the item name for apple, golden apple, and so on.

This can be easily achieved by typing ctrl and f at the same time while the lang file is open in note pad, then typing apple into the search bar.


This will pull up every time “apple” is mentioned in minecraft. All you have to do is change the text after the : to read the name you want. This works for every line in the lang file.

If Minecraft will no longer read the lang file you’re using, it means some line on the file is broken, so I recommend editing lang files slowly, making sure not to delete any vital text. You can always undo until the file is readable again.

Good, however this would work significantly better if it fit the game's colors. The gold on the golden apple is a little desaturated which may make it feel out of place
