This is a hyper realistic texture pack. All the textures are handmade and is meant to satisfy my need for a more realistic minecraft with a different feel from LB photo realism. Once again, all textures you see are hand crafted yet still look amazing. CURRENTLY IN VERSION 2.3
And sorry if the new link doesn't work for some people. Zippyshare is currently down. This was the best I could find.
What is Done
Most landscape blocks including dirt, stone, cobble, sand, ores, snow, and a few more. All wools, obsidian, tree textures, most nether blocks, ice, and a lot more. Wood planks, bedrock, bricks, a few improvements to wood and various other blocks completed. A few more blocks and stone blocks. Water, numerous palettes, much more. Cauldron.

Installation
Installing texture packs has changed a little. For this all you have to do is put this in Resource Packs and I do all the hard work of converting it. Then enable it like a normal pack except this time, instead of going to texture packs, just go to resource packs, which is located in options, resource packs. To get to your texture packs file, access it from the game or go toC:Users/.../AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/resourcepacks if you installed it using the default settings and are on windows. You can look up more detailed instructions on the internet.
OPTIONAL PALETTE TEXTURES! To get these, open your scenic realism from resource packs, and follow the instructions in the included readme. These will work with any pack. The standard one included as the default in Scenic Realism is Saturated.

Palettes
-Original- Default look of minecraft
-Saturated- Standard for Scenic Realism
-Evenmoresaturated- High saturation, very vibrant and soft
-Old Movie- Greyish, white, and black
-Fantasy- Purples, blues, and vibrant
-Frost- Frosty white and blue, cold look
-Autumn- The leaves are falling, warm oranges and reds
-Transition- Seamlessly transition from summer to fall in one world
-Dead*- A barren wasteland. Fallout style (No leaves)
-Rainbow*- Pretty self explanatory (No leaves)
*Indicates new palette in current version
All palettes now have leaves unless otherwise stated.
Remember, you can use these on any pack! Now you can mix and match grass and leaf colors to make something you like. But only oak trees have the color I believe because I have not worked on the other leaves.
THESE ARE OPTIONAL! BUT YOU MUST HAVE ONE. IF YOU LIKE THE BASIC ONE, DON'T MESS WITH THESE!
Also, feel free to recommend palettes!

Notes
~I recommend a medium end computer or better to run this texture pack.
~If you get an out of memory error while running this, try visiting this link:http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1395030-tutorial-allocate-more-memory-for-minecraft/
~If you have annoying lines in between your textures, there is a 99.99% chance it is your computer, not mine. To fix this try going into your Video Card settings and disable Anti Aliasing. There are tutorials all over the internet on how to do this. But if you're like me and have a AMD or ATI video card, go into your AMD catalyst settings, go to gaming, 3d performance, and simply turn AA off. If that doesn't work like it did for me, try this tutorial:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGGz6BlMUL8good luck!
I'll keep this short and sweet, Enjoy!
Also, thanks for the feature on the texture packs page!

I greatly improved water but there are still a few issues that I am working out.

Cauldrons : by flamingdiaper4U 10/13/2013 3:59:44 pmOct 13th, 2013
I added a cauldron texture that looks very good, fixed a seam issue with the gold block, and it should work with minecraft 1.6.4 minus the colored clay.
