    If you really want to start developing resource packs, look into getting better software. Paint.NET and GIMP are both free software that are great for pixel editing.

    Your issue is that the backgrounds of your transparent blocks are not transparent (I don't even know if MS paint supports it... ) The background should be checkered white and light gray.
