This pack modifies the textures of stone and bedrock to be similar to the deepslate texture. This pack changes:
  • Stone and ore textures to be similar to deepslate, albeit lighter and with slightly less contrast
  • Stone bricks (and variants) and smooth stone to match
  • Bedrock to a darkened deepslate texture
  • Deepslate to have an old version of the top texture on all sides and deepslate ores to match with this smoother texture
The 1.16.5 version keeps the old ore shapes, while the 1.17 version uses the new ore shapes with some slight modifications. The 1.16.5 version still contains the slight tweaks to the deepslate blocks, in case you prefer the old ores, and can be used in the 1.17 snapshots without any issues. The 1.16.5-1.18 versions are no longer publicly available because PMC does not have a great way of storing old files. The most recent version should be fully compatible with older versions of the game.

Tweaked the stone brick textures slightly. Changed all ore textures to use their 21w10a shapes, as some were using their 21w08a shapes and some had not been included at all.

Can you update to the new iron ore texture? It's just personal preference but I don't like the 21w08a iron ore.

As of the latest update it uses the current iron ore texture. TBH I had kind of forgotten it used the old one; I think I must've finished v1 of the pack after 21w08a but before the next snapshot.
