Symplicity is a 16x16 texture pack for minecraft centered around a minimalistic approach.
The whole texture pack is based on a very straightforward, bright look. The textures should appear simple but not boring or plain. They feature very minimal and basic shadowing that uses the texture's primary color almost exclusively. Other than minor changes to things like glass and enchanting tables I tried to keep all the textures identical to their original as much as possible so that the game still has the very distinct Minecraft feel to it.
I have finished the basic textures but have yet to tackle the hard stuff like entities, particles, and advanced blocks (those without static textures). I am 100% done with the GUI interface and I think it looks quite nice at the moment. Above is a screenshot of some of the basic textures I've completed. Keep in mind that
all
of them are works in progress and will most likely undergo changes before any release. Symplicity will be available here on PlanetMinecraft and on my personal site, Aryi.tk when finished.


I would not suggest downloading the current release of symplicity as it is not at a playable level at the moment. I was required to upload the pack to post this thread.
