You want to have a TNT timer for mini-games like BedWars, but the mod is not compatible with your game version or you don't want to install it?
Well, a traditional countdown-style timer is not possible with just a texture pack animation, since all the TNT blocks and PrimedTnt entities are animated at once.
So, what kind of timer is this?
Each side of TNT now has a red indicator thing. Full circle takes 2.5 seconds (same as TNT delay on most BedWars servers).
So, if you placed the TNT when the indicator was on the top, it will explode the moment it makes a full circle and reaches the top again.
For Vanilla, TNT explodes after about 1½ of a full circle (approx. 3.75 seconds).
The top side flashes every 90 degrees (0.625 seconds), which can also be used for timing.
This texture pack is compatible with all versions starting with 1.6.1. The same download is used for ancient and modern versions. You just have to ignore the warnings that modern Minecraft may give you.
