Picture this: You've just made a cool new skin. You log into your world to check it out. But it's all covered up by your armour!
From experience, when playing with friends, I like to be able to see their skin, rather than us all just be faces in a massive suit of enchanted armours. This resource pack reduces all armours (except chainmail) to simply the boots and pauldrons (shoulder-plates), so you can still tell what armour is being worn without it being overpowering.

Maybe add a 1.20 Version? My armour has trims, and when I activate the pack, there are just trims on my skin.

could you maybe implement some smol textures for leggins and helmet, so you can see wether or not someone is wearing full armor or just chestplate and shoes?

Would it be possible for you to make this resource pack compatible? because from what it looks like you use the exact same textures for the upper arms and boots as the base game, so there should be a way for you to use some form of reference texture so it get's affected by anything that affects that certain part of the vanilla armor textures. I use faithful 64x64 and it does not match well with the texture pack.

That's a good idea, and with blocks and items it is definitely possible, however vanilla resource packs don't allow you to change the models, which would be how you would do what you're saying. It's a shame and I'd do it if I could, but unfortunately it's not possible at the moment.

There are things like optifine that expand what resource pack creators can do. For example thalyrus medieval warfare allows you to change the appearance of weapons by renaming them to certain names in an anvil as long as you have optifine. And there might be a way to code it in yourself.

Yes I know of OptiFine, but even now OptiFine doesn't support Custom Armour models.

Should've put something on for the leggings and helmets. Not hating, you got the idea across, but there should at least be something, like a belt or head wings instead of nothing for the leg armor and helmets.
