With my texture pack I went for something very similar to basic minecraft, but including many nice changes. For me at least, I never used any texture packs because it felt too different. I took it into my own hands to create a very simple, yet unique texture pack.

sorry I haven't responded, hardly go to this site anymore. Rename the alternate file included in the texture pack, for the brighter ores, change terrain_brighterores.png to terrain.png. For the alt swords, do items_sao.png to items.png

I wouldn't use the 32x32 version even if I made it, so I really don't wanna put the time into it (I'm a fan of big pixels)
