It is compatible, even though it shows as red it will still work. If you don't want it to show as red, you can change the number in 'pack.mcmeta' to i think 2 or 3 for 1.8

I thought about it, but I won't because many other packs, including I think Better Vanilla Building and A Little Taste of Jerm already do this and I want to stick with original ideas as much as possible.
