Hello! This is a Minecraft Texture Pack for 1.14 that gives the game a smooth, but yet familiar look. Every texture has been algorithmically resized to achieve this, ensuring that almost no detail of the Vanilla Minecraft look is lost. So if you're a person who loves their Vanilla, then look no further than this!

Most the textures have been resized and corrected to look well with Minecraft, however as this is primarily algorithmic, please be on the lookout for any textures that may have smoothed to show transparent spots or out-of-place colors during the scaling process. I have tried my best to track these down and fix them, but I may have left a few out. Please tell me if you spot any, and I'll be sure to try and fix it in later versions!

How had this been achieved?
If you're familiar with Famicom emulators, then you may be familiar with this look. This pack uses a mixture of two scaling methods on the textures: xBR and hqnx. These methods were developed by Maxim Stepin and Hyllian respectively and were developed to resize pixel art into more smoother, high-quality counterparts. Big credit goes to those guys; this pack wouldn't have been possible without them.

Thanks for reading! Now, enjoy the pack! :)

Update #1 : 06/10/2019 4:10:56 pmJun 10th

This update finishes off about all of the pack in its most basic form :). Next, I'll be updating the mobs and finalizing the textures further. Here are the logs:

-Fixed textures for the singleplayer world select screen
-Improved some letters in the font
-Every block and item has now been upscaled
-Fixed map item
-Improved plant textures
-Fixed potion textures
-Upscaled sun, moon and environment textures.
-Added experimental upscaled clouds. Enable it under 'environment' in the texture pack textures. Use it with fast clouds for satisfying results.

My favorite 1.14 texture pack. It has this nice blurry look to it. Hope you finish it!

Cool looking pack, but when I drop it into my resource pack folder, it doesn't appear in-game, any help with that? Or maybe a possible fix? Thanks!

I see. Within the ZIP file, there is another file that contains the resource pack. You must drag that out of the ZIP file and place it into the MC resource pack folder. Sorry for the struggle, next update I'll be sure to make this process unnecessary :).
