First, I'm gonna tell you how to successfully download a new map into minecraft and then I'll tell you how you upload your own map!

1. first, find your map you want to use and download
2. while the map is downloading, open .minecraft
3. when the map is done downloading, drag the .zip file onto the desktop screen/laptop screen
4. open the zip file. You should see the side bar. click ''extract all files'' click that
5. Extract the files.
6. while the file are extracting, keep a close eye on them
7. when the files are done extracting, go into .minecraft and click ''saves''
8. take your EXTRACTED file folder (Not the .zip!) and drag it into the ''saves'' folder
9. close all these programs and run minecraft
10. Have fun with your single-player map!

Now I'm gonna tell you how to upload a map to planet minecraft. *Please note: This tutorial will use dropbox. It's free and easy to use.

1. Open the dropbox icon on your laptop/desktop screen
2. get the map you want to upload onto the desktop/laptop screen.
3.drag the map folder into the dropbox window
4. close the window and open the internet. Go to dropbox.com and open your acount
5 click once on the folder, then click ''share link''
5. Don't put people in. just click ''get link.'' the link will be copied to your clipboard.
6. past the link into the PMC box: ''World Download URL''
7. write a good little summary and upload pictures, add some credit and post!
