  "Be quiet Lacey!"
  "Jeez Trace, just trying to lighten the mood,"

  I groaned. Here I was, trying to explain to the refugee kids we had found about how the world was ending and we were all going to die, when Lacey interrupted singing a silly song she had made up. Now was not the time for that. The kids just kinda stared at us in the dark.
  "Excuse me mister," one of them said. "But we should be going,"
  "Why?"
  "Well, we were kinda trying to go save the world before you showed up,"

  Lacey's face was covered in shock, and I'm sure that mine was too. The two boys picked their bags back up, and one of them handed the young girl her staff. Then they turned to leave.
  "What do you mean you were going to save the world? You're just kids," I said.
  "You're just teens,"
  "But how?" Lacey asked. I judged that the oldest boy was about twelve, with the other boy at about the age of ten and the girl probably was only eight or nine. These kids, with whatever plan they had cooked up, would not be able to save the world.
  The oldest boy pointed at the girl. Throughout this entire time, she had said nothing. "We have to get Zion to the Cathedral of Chaos," he said. I looked at the girl, Zion.
  "How do you plan to save us?" She looked me in the eyes but said nothing.
  "She doesn't speak," the younger boy said. "And we really should be going,"
